Light pink in colour, the nose shows watermelon, strawberry and floral aromas. The palate is richly textured and layered with watermelon strawberry and cream flavours leading to a balanced and fresh finish.
From the Lilico Spur in the Waikerikeri Conservation Area, climb the barren summit of Leaning Rock (1,647m) to view many large tors and the expansive vineyard terraces of McArthur Ridge.
Located in the heart of this unforgiving mountainous region Central Otago sits the expansive vineyard of McArthur Ridge. The cool climate and gently sloping Brassknocker soils combine to deliver what some consider to be amongst the finest vineyards in the world for growing Pinot.
